₹50000 More and This Tata EV Gives You Panoramic Sunroof JBL Sound and ADAS

The electric SUV battle just got serious with Tata’s Curvv EV and Harrier EV going head-to-head. While both models cater to different segments, the price difference between Harrier EV’s base trim and Curvv EV’s top trim is just ₹50,000. So, which one gives more for your money? Let’s find out.

Infotainment Display & Sound System

In display technology, both of these models have great displays with some differences in it. Tata Curvv EV Empowered+ A trim has a 12.3-inch touchscreen unit. On the other hand, the Harrier EV Adventure trim receives a 10.25-inch unit, just like in other Tata models. While top variants of Harrier EV are likely to come with an advanced 14.5-inch Neo QLED screen, the base model misses it.

Curvv EV also wins big when it comes to sound experience with a 9-speaker JBL system with a subwoofer. Compared to that, Harrier EV’s base variant makes do with a 6-speaker unit, denying the immersive audio experience.

Comfort Features & Seating Adjustments

Curvv EV has ventilated front seats as standard on its highest variant. It also comes with 6-way adjustable driver as well as co-passenger seats. Harrier EV’s Adventure trim does not get ventilation but gives an 8-way for the driver and 4-way for the co-passenger—somewhat more flexible but lagging in terms of comfort.

Ambient Lighting, Sunroof & Tech Features

Curvv EV leads the luxury pack with a panoramic sunroof supported by voice assistance and multi-mood ambient lighting. It also gets Wireless Smartphone Charging and an Air Purifier with AQI display, both of which are absent in the standard Harrier EV.

ADAS & Safety Technology

Perhaps the biggest difference is the safety suite. Curvv EV features Level 2 ADAS, which includes goodies like Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Blind Spot View Monitor, and a 360° 3D Surround View Camera system.

The entry-level Harrier EV doesn’t have this tech-oriented safety package at all, putting it one step behind for customers who care about safety.

Performance & Battery Specs

Harrier EV has a distinct performance and size advantage. It comes with a bigger 65 kWh battery putting out 238 PS of power. The Curvv EV comes with a 55 kWh unit with 167 PS and 215 Nm torque.

Size-wise, Harrier EV is much larger—approximating 300 mm longer, 112 mm wider, and 103 mm taller. It also has a longer wheelbase and more frunk and boot space, which is perfect for big families or drivers who like to travel a lot.

Charging Capabilities and Range

Harrier EV can support faster DC fast charging, but its official range has yet to be revealed. In contrast, Curvv EV’s range-topping variant has a certified range of 502 km from a single charge, which is very competitive in its class.

Price Comparison

Though the Harrier EV is a bigger and more powerful SUV, the entry-level Adventure variant costs ₹21.49 lakh. Tata Curvv EV’s Empowered+ A trim is priced at ₹21.99 lakh—just ₹50,000 more, but with more technology, improved comfort features, and ADAS.
