Amrit Bharat Express: Good news for railway passengers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a new train service in Gujarat on October 30th. This train stands out for several reasons. Operating three times weekly, it will traverse 2,532 kilometers per journey. The Barauni-Bhuj Amrit Bharat Express will start from Bhuj in Gujarat and arrive in Barauni in Bihar. After its launch, traveling between these two states will be significantly more convenient. The Railway Ministry gave the green light for operations on September 25th, and PM Modi will now officially launch it.
New Amrit Bharat Express will launch in October 30
The Barauni-Bhuj Amrit Bharat Express originates in Bihar and passes through Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan before reaching Gujarat. It departs Bhuj on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, while leaving Barauni on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The departure time from Barauni is 11:55 p.m., with arrival in Bhuj at 1:15 p.m. The train requires roughly 61 hours and 20 minutes for each one-way trip. This translates to approximately two and a half days to cover the 2,532-kilometer route.
The train will pass through 8 districts of UP
While the Barauni-Bhuj Express operates between Bihar and Gujarat, it will also serve 8 districts across UP. The train will pass through Mathura, Hathras, Bareilly, Izzatnagar, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Gonda and Gorakhpur. Additionally, the train will cross 6 districts in Bihar, namely Siwan, Chhapra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur and Barauni. The train will also traverse 5 districts in Rajasthan – Ratlam, Kota, Sawaimadhopur, Gangapur City and Bharatpur. In Gujarat, the train will pass through Bhuj, Samakhiali and Ahmedabad districts.
