Ampere has launched the Nexus EX+ in India in two variants. The Standard variant is priced at ₹1.30 lakh (ex-showroom), while the variant featuring Intellipack technology is priced at ₹1.36 lakh. Both variants are available in two colour options: Carbon Knight and Steel Grey.
5kW Motor
The most significant upgrade in the Nexus EX+ is its new 5kW electric motor. According to the company, this motor delivers a peak torque of 202 Nm at the wheel. Ampere claims that the electric scooter can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in just 4.5 seconds.
Along with increased power, the company has also improved the motor’s gradeability. Furthermore, the motor performs efficiently even when carrying a pillion rider or a heavy load. This makes it an excellent choice for daily city commuting.
Smart Connectivity with Intellipack
The Intellipack variant of the Nexus EX+ comes with connected technology. The scooter can be linked to the Ampere Connect app, allowing users to view various details directly on their smartphones.
