UPSC IFS Prelims Result: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the result of the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Prelims Examination 2026. All candidates who took the exam are waiting for their results, which are now available. In this result, a total of 1046 candidates have been declared successful for the main examination. The commission has released a total of 80 vacancies for this year. These exams have been much tougher this year than last year. The Commission has made the names and roll numbers of the selected candidates available on its official website. A total of 80 posts are to be recruited in the Indian Forest Service. For these posts, 1046 candidates will now appear in the next phase.
Candidates have been selected for the main examination on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the Civil Services Preliminary Examination to be held on 24 May 2026. The commission has released the list of qualified candidates after completing the screening process.
