NEET Date Update: The National Testing Agency (NTA) had recently cancelled the NEET UG 2026 examination. It has now announced the new dates for the re-examination. The examination is scheduled for June 21. It is worth noting that this year—on May 3, 2026—a total of 22.79 lakh students appeared for the exam. The examination was conducted across 5,432 test centres located in 551 cities within India and 14 cities abroad. Following the announcement of this decision, many students experienced significant anxiety.

Through a post on the social media platform ‘X’, the NTA has now officially declared the dates for the NEET (UG) 2026 re-examination. The exam will be held on June 21, 2026. Consequently, students have very little time remaining to prepare for the exam. Students are advised to dedicate themselves fully to their exam preparation immediately. Admit cards for the examination will also be made available for download shortly.

According to the information released by the NTA, the examination will be conducted nationwide on June 21. Students are advised to begin giving the final touches to their preparation at this stage.

In its post, the NTA has also issued a special appeal to students and parents. They are urged not to pay attention to the continuous stream of news regarding the examination circulating on social media. Students should rely solely on the official website for information. Do not trust any information shared via unofficial links or messages.

First, visit the official NTA NEET website at neet.nta.nic.in.
Once the webpage opens, click on the ‘NEET UG Admit Card 2026 Link’.
Enter your application number and password details.
Enter the CAPTCHA code displayed on the screen, then click ‘Submit’.
Your NEET Admit Card will then appear on your screen. Download it and take a printout.
