The scheme was launched by the Central Government to help Indian farmers financially. The government has now officially announced when the 23rd instalment will be released. The money will be transferred directly to the beneficiaries’ accounts, providing substantial financial assistance to farmers for agricultural and household needs.
When will the 23rd installment be released?
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has shared a post on the official social media platform X that the 23rd installment of the scheme will be released on June 20, 2026. Under this, Rs 2000 will be sent directly to the accounts of eligible farmers. When was the PM Kisan Yojana launched?
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched on 24 February 2019. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive financial assistance of up to Rs 6,000 per annum. This amount is sent to the bank accounts of the farmers in three equal installments of Rs 2000. So far, 22 instalments have been released, and now the 23rd instalment will be released within the next 5 days.
More than 90 million farmers will benefit
According to government data, the scheme is being availed by more than 90 million farmers across the country. In such a situation, the release of the 23rd installment will directly benefit crores of farmer families.

Non-completion of e-KYC of beneficiary.
Not having a Farmer ID.
If the bank account information, such as account number or IFSC code, is incorrect, the money will not be credited to your account.
