HBSE Class 12 Exams Begin Today – Exam Starts at 12:30 PM, Check Reporting Time & Prohibited Items

New Delhi, Haryana Board Class 12 Exam Start: The annual board examinations conducted by the Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) begin today, February 25th. The board has completed all preparations to ensure a peaceful and fair conduct of the examinations. This year, over 566,411 students are scheduled to appear for the 10th and 12th-grade exams. The first English exam is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m., while the 10th-grade exams are scheduled to begin on February 26th.

Section 163 has been imposed within a 200-meter radius of the examination centres. Photocopy shops will remain closed, and police officers will arrive at the centres two hours before the start of the exams to conduct scanning. A total of 270,000 Class 12 students will appear for the exams.

Exam Schedule
According to the schedule released by the Haryana Board, the Class 12 exams will begin on February 25th, 2026, and continue until April 1st, 2026. The exams begin on the first day with the English paper. Meanwhile, Class 10 exams will begin on February 26, 2026, and continue until March 20, 2026. The exam timings are scheduled from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

Important Instructions for Students
The Board has advised all candidates to arrive at the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the exam begins. No student will be allowed to appear for the exam without an admit card. The Board has clearly stated that students arriving late will not be allowed inside the exam centre. Mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, or any other electronic devices are prohibited during the exam. Exams will be held at 1,421 examination centres
The 10th and 12th grade examinations will be conducted at 1,421 examination centres across the state. Approximately 566,400 candidates will appear in these examinations. Meanwhile, the board says that if it has to cancel the exam at any centre, the cost of re-conducting the exam will be borne by the centre and its staff.

Students appearing for the Haryana Board Intermediate exams should ensure they bring their admit cards. Without their admit cards, they will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.
