Xiaomi 17 series: Xiaomi, a Chinese smartphone company, has confirmed when its newest Android flagships, the Xiaomi 17 series, will go on sale worldwide. Xiaomi will introduce two models in this series worldwide: the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra, even if there are more than two options available in the Chinese market. The company claims that both phones will go on sale worldwide on February 28, 2026, in Barcelona, which is also the date of the Mobile World Congress. At 7:30 PM IST, the Xiaomi 17 launch event will be livestreamed on the company’s official channels, most likely YouTube.

Xiaomi has so far hinted to the Xiaomi 17 series on social media and its Indian website. The business has not yet disclosed when these phones will be available in India, though. Additionally, there is no hard data about the Xiaomi 17 series’ price in India. At MWC 2026, Xiaomi is probably going to reveal the Indian versions of these smartphones. Customers’ enthusiasm for the upcoming Xiaomi 17 series phones may rise even more if this occurs.

Features of the Xiaomi 17

The handset should have the specs mentioned earlier. The battery capacity of the Chinese and global versions of the phone is a key difference.

Possible Xiaomi 17 Details

It will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3nm) octa-core processor and run HyperOS 3.0, which is based on Android 16. It will have up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. It will have a 6.3-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. 3500 nits will be the maximum brightness. With a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2.6x optical zoom and OIS, the rear camera will have a triple 50MP Leica Summilux system. Also, a 50MP front camera with 4K video recording ability will be included. The China version will have a 7,000mAh battery and a 6330mAh silicon-carbon battery. If we look at charging, it will offer 22.5W reverse wireless, 50W wireless, and 100W wired.
