The Indian SUV market stands at an interesting turn at the moment. Every company is involved in strengthening its portfolio, and Renault is also going to take a big step in this race. While on one side the company is preparing for the launch of the new generation Duster, on the other side there is another surprise new Upcoming 7-Seat Renault SUV.

Recently this new 7-seater SUV has been spotted during testing in India. This SUV will be based on the new Duster, but in a much longer, more special and more premium style. So let’s know its details.

According to the information revealed from the spy shots, this SUV will be about 4.55 meters long. Its wheelbase will also be extended to around 2.70 meters. This means better legroom and more rest for the third line.

Talking about design, its front part will be straight and strong. Large skid plates, elevated ground clearance, strong wheel arch and sharp shoulder lines will give it the look of a real SUV.

The rear windscreen at the rear will be less bent, allowing more space in the boot space. That is, the tension of keeping the bag on the family trip will be reduced slightly.

Interior

If it talks about its engine, this SUV can come with a 1.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine. This engine will generate power of about 158 hp and torque of 280 Nm. Transmission options may include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic.

The company can then offer a hybrid version by mid-2027, which will be based on a 1.8-liter naturally aspirated engine. This will give around 158 hp and 172 Nm torque.

Launch
