New Delhi, Gold-Silver Rate Weekly: Gold and silver prices are fluctuating daily. Gold rates are changing rapidly. Last week saw a sharp increase in gold and silver prices. Despite this, both precious metals are trading well below their highs. The Indian bullion market has seen significant activity this week. Since today is Sunday, the rates shown here are based on Friday’s market close. Silver is currently trading more than ₹1.67 lakh per kilogram cheaper than its highs. Meanwhile, 24-karat gold is trading more than ₹36,000 cheaper.

What is the 24-Carat rate?
A look at the weekly fluctuations in gold and silver prices in the domestic market. According to the Indian Bullion Jewellers Association’s website, IBJA.com, both precious metals have also seen a jump. The 24-carat gold rate has risen from ₹1,52,765 to ₹1,55,066 per 10 grams within a week. The 22-carat gold rate has risen to ₹1,51,340 per 10 grams. Furthermore, the price of 20-carat gold remains at ₹1,38,010 per 10 grams, and the price of 18-carat gold remains at ₹1,25,600 per 10 grams. The silver price has risen from ₹2,42,433 per kilogram to ₹2,50,314 per kilogram.

MCX Gold Rates
On February 13, the price of 10 grams of gold with an April 2 expiry date on the MCX closed at ₹1,55,895, and within five trading days of the week, it has risen to ₹1,56,876. Gold rates have increased by ₹981 over the past week.

Silver prices
The price of silver has increased by ₹8,584 per kilogram over the past week. On February 13th, the price of silver with a March 5th expiry date on the Multi-Commodity Exchange fell to ₹2,44,360 per 10 grams. A week later, on Friday, it reached ₹2,52,944.

In Delhi, the price of 24-carat gold is ₹159,430 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold is ₹146,150 per 10 grams.
