This new fare policy will be implemented in phases between April 13th and 16th. Among the trains whose superfast tags are being removed are the Vibhuti Express, which runs from Prayagraj Rambagh to Howrah, and the Netaji Express, which runs from Howrah to Kalka via Prayagraj Junction. The Vibhuti Express stops at approximately 31 stations between Rambagh and Howrah.

Whereas the Netaji Express stops at a total of 38 stations, including Prayagraj Junction. The removal of the superfast surcharge on these trains with more stops will reduce ticket costs, directly benefiting long-distance passengers. Those booking from April will see the new fares apply.
