Price
First of all, talk about the price because finally the decision starts from here. Volkswagen is set to bring the Tayron R Line to the same full-loaded variant in India, which is expected to cost around Rs 48 lakh. This makes it a premium and exclusive SUV.
At the same time Skoda Kodiaq is already present in the market and its price starts from 39.99 lakh to Rs 45.96 lakh. Having three different variants and a 5-seater option, Kodiak has access to more buyers. That is, Skoda seems a bit more flexible in terms of budget.

Design
Now, talking about design, both SUVs clearly reflect European DNA. The Tayron R Line has a sportier and sharper look, making it a bit more aggressive on the road. On the other hand, the Skoda Kodiaq has a classic and elegant appeal, which is more appealing to family SUV buyers.
Both cars look bigger and stronger, but the design of the Tayron R Line seems a bit more youthful, while the style of the Kodiaq gives a more matured and sofistic feel.
Size and space
The Tayron R Line is slightly longer and has more boot space. The 850-liter boot space proves to be of considerable use for long trips and family trips. At the same time, Kodiaq has a boot space of 786 liters, which is perfectly adequate for everyday use.
Interestingly, Kodiaq offers more maximum space when folding seats. That is, one SUV is ahead in the first boot, then the other in the folding space.

Color options
Both companies offer buyers ample color options. Both the Tayron R Line and Kodiaq are available in seven attractive color options. Shades like blue, red, white, black, and gray cover every taste. It’s difficult to give one a significant advantage here, as both lineups are strong.
