Ingredients for Masala Bhindi (Spicy Okra):
Tomatoes
Fresh Bhindi
Onions
Green chillies
Mustard seeds
Cumin seeds
Asafoetida
Garlic
Oil
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder
Coriander powder
Red chilli powder
Garam masala
Maggi masala
How to make Masala Bhindi:
First, wash and cut the Bhindi into thin, long pieces.
Also, chop the onions and tomatoes.
Now, heat a pan on the gas and add oil. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, chopped green chillies, and asafoetida and fry.
Now add the onions and sauté until they turn brown. When the onions are golden brown, add the tomatoes and sauté both well. Once the tomatoes and onions are well cooked, add salt and all the spices with a little water and cook well. Now add the chopped Bhindi pieces to the pan, add water and boil well.
When the gravy thickens and is cooked, add coriander leaves and serve with roti and rice.
