Yes, this time a notification (WBHRB Recruitment 2026) has been issued for the recruitment of about 4000 candidates for the posts of nurses and doctors, where job seekers can apply online. For which posts are being recruited?

In the official notification that has been published, recruitment is being done for the posts of General Duty Medical Officer and Staff Nurse. And there are a total of about 4 thousand vacancies, where there are 1132 vacancies for the posts of medical officers and 2611 vacancies for the posts of nurses.

What are the educational qualifications required?

As it is known, to apply for the post of staff nurse, candidates must have GNM or BSc Nursing from any recognized institution. They must even be registered with the West Bengal Nursing Council. However, to be appointed as a medical officer, candidates must have an MBBS degree with internship.

What is the age limit?

The minimum age required to apply here is 22 years to 40 years. In addition, age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

Salary Structure

If appointed as a staff nurse, the first salary will be 25,000 rupees per month. However, if you get a job as a medical officer, you will be paid 60,000 rupees per month.
