Monsoon Update – Heavy Rain & Snowfall Alert for Feb 5-7 in These States, Check Weather Forecast

Monsoon Update: The weather in the country is about to change again. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for heavy rainfall in several states of the country on February 5th, 6th, and 7th. Along with the rain, there is also a possibility of dust storms, which may cause fluctuations in temperature. According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog may be observed in some areas of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and the plains of Northwest India during the morning and night until February 6th.

Additionally, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in some areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad on February 5th and 6th. Further, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall on February 6th. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a chance of rain and snowfall in some areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on February 9th and 10th.

Kerala and Tamil Nadu Weather Forecast
According to the Meteorological Department, rainfall continues in Kerala and Tamil Nadu even after the monsoon season. Heavy rainfall is expected between February 5th and 7th. Several districts of the state will experience heavy downpours. There is also a possibility of dust storms along with the rain.

Weather conditions in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand

According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued for heavy rainfall and heavy snowfall in the higher reaches from February 5th to 7th. The Meteorological Department has also predicted thunderstorms and rain in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Lightning is expected in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, unseasonal rainfall is expected in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. An alert for heavy rainfall has also been issued for Arunachal Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rainfall in Puducherry, Rayalaseema, Mahe, Karaikal, Lakshadweep, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Weather conditions in Rajasthan
In Rajasthan, a slight increase in minimum temperatures in the coming days will provide some relief from the cold. According to the IMD, the weather will remain dry across most parts of the state for the next 3 to 4 days. A new Western Disturbance will affect the northwest region from the night of February 8th.

Weather in Delhi:
Dense fog is expected in parts of Delhi, reducing visibility. The maximum temperature on Thursday is likely to be between 21 and 23 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature could be between 7 and 9 degrees Celsius. Cloudy skies are expected on February 6th.

Weather in Bihar:
According to the Meteorological Department, fog is likely in the border districts of North Bihar for the next 2-3 days. The temperature will gradually rise. South Bihar will experience clear weather and sunshine, providing some relief.
