Ways to update your mobile number
There are three main ways to add or change your mobile number in your bank account. The first method is through an ATM, the second is through net banking, and the third is by visiting your home branch. Each method is designed according to different conveniences and needs.
Update via ATM
If you have a bank debit card, the ATM is the easiest way. Insert your card into the ATM, enter your PIN, and select the Registrations or Personal Details option on the screen. Then select the Mobile Number Registration and Change Mobile Number option. After entering the new number, OTP verification will take place, and the number will be updated.

Update via Net Banking
For those who use net banking, the process is even easier. Log in to the bank’s website or app with your user ID and password. Go to Profile or Security Settings and select Update Mobile Number. Enter the new number and verify it through OTP or e-KYC.
Update by visiting the branch
Those who use online banking less frequently can update their mobile number by directly visiting their home branch. Fill out the form there and enter your old and new numbers. Submit a copy of your Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passbook along with the form. The bank employee will verify the details and update the new number in the system. Usually, the new number becomes active within 24 to 48 hours, and all banking alerts start coming to the new number.
