Silver Rate Live Today: After a decline in gold and silver prices over the past three days, prices have risen again today, February 3rd. In early trading on MCX, silver surged by over Rs. 21,000, while gold rose by over Rs. 5,000. At 9:30 AM, the March delivery of silver was trading at Rs. 2,53,999 per kg, up by Rs. 17,738. Similarly, April-delivery gold was trading at Rs. 148,586 per 10 grams, up by Rs. 4,595. Recently, the price of silver had crossed Rs. 4 lakh. However, a sharp decline in silver prices was also observed afterward. Gold closed at Rs. 1,43,991 in the previous session and opened at Rs. 1,48,000 today. In early trading, it reached a high of Rs. 1,49,485. At 10:40 AM, it was trading at Rs. 1,48,950.
What are the prices in the international market?
In the international market, prices have also risen. The spot gold rate reached $4855 per ounce, a 4.2 per cent rise. Earlier on Friday, spot gold prices had fallen 4.8 per cent. It’s worth noting that not only gold and silver, but spot platinum prices also registered a 3 per cent jump.
