Ladki Bahin Yojana: Women to Receive Rs 2,100 Soon, Govt announced

Ladki Bahin Yojana: The state and central governments are running various schemes to enhance women’s economic status. In Maharashtra, the Chief Minister’s Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana is one such initiative. It’s quite a popular scheme in the state, and there’s a significant update regarding it. Maharashtra’s Deputy CM Eknath Shinde has announced that women will soon receive Rs 2,100 each month.

Currently, the Zila Parishad elections are taking place in Maharashtra, and prominent leaders from all political parties are actively campaigning. During an election rally in Kolhapur district, CM Eknath Shinde mentioned that the state government will soon provide Rs 2,100 to women. While paying tribute to the late Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Shinde remarked, “This is a tough time, but we must keep campaigning. These elections are for the hardworking individuals, and they can’t be delayed. We campaign with humility, ensuring we don’t offend anyone’s feelings.”

10 lakh women will benefit from the Ladki Behen Yojana. Shinde elaborated, “We will keep the ‘Ladki Behen’ scheme running until 1 million women in the state have received its benefits. Soon, every sister will get Rs 2,100.” It’s important to note that currently, women receive Rs 1,500 monthly under the Ladki Behen Yojana.

Who qualifies for the Chief Minister’s Ladki Behan Scheme?

1. This scheme is designed for women aged between 21 and 65 years.
2. To benefit from this scheme, women must be residents of Maharashtra.
3. Women need to apply online to join this scheme.
4. All married, unmarried, and divorced women can take advantage of this scheme.
5. To qualify, women must have a bank account, and their family’s annual income should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
6. This scheme is not applicable to women who are availing benefits of any other government scheme.

These documents are required

To take advantage of this scheme, you need an Aadhar card, identity card, bank account, caste certificate, residence certificate, age verification certificate, ration card, a passport-sized photo, income certificate, birth certificate, and voter ID.

 Families earning more than Rs 2.5 lakh can’t apply. If you file income tax, you’re also not eligible. Additionally, if you have a state or central government job, you’re out of luck. Families owning four-wheeled vehicles, except for tractors, are also disqualified.

How do you complete eKYC for the Ladki Behin Yojana?

1. To do the e-KYC for Mukhyamantri-Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, head over to the website https://ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in.

2. Click on the e-KYC banner on the homepage to access the e-KYC form.

3. In this form, the beneficiary needs to input their Aadhaar number and captcha code. Agree to the Aadhaar authentication and hit Send OTP. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked to the beneficiary’s Aadhaar. Enter this OTP and click Submit.

4. After that, the system will verify if the beneficiary’s KYC has been completed.

5. If the e-KYC is already done, a message will pop up saying ‘e-KYC already completed.’

6. If it hasn’t been completed, the system will check if the Aadhaar number is on the eligible list for the scheme.

7. If the Aadhaar number is eligible, you can move on to the next step.
