How to change the date of birth online
To correct the date of birth on your PAN card, you need to fill out the PAN correction form on the official website of NSDL or UTIITSL. The correct date of birth must be entered in the form, and valid documents such as an Aadhaar card, birth certificate, or 10th-grade mark sheet must be uploaded as proof.
This is followed by verification via OTP sent to the mobile number linked to the Aadhaar card. Once the verification is complete, the application process moves forward, and the prescribed fee must be paid.
Offline Correction Process
Those who are unable to apply online can visit their nearest Common Service Center and submit the PAN correction form. The application is submitted there along with the necessary documents. After all the information is verified, the PAN record is updated, and a new PAN card is issued if required.
