In the first few hours after bookings opened, more than 20,000 tickets were sold. The situation is such that approximately 2000 tickets are being sold every hour.
‘Border’ is dominating overseas as well
Not only in India, but the film is also creating a huge buzz in the US, Germany, and Australia. According to trade analyst Nishit Shaw, the film has already earned 37,000 Australian dollars from just 39 shows in Australia. Experts say that this film is going to give tough competition to upcoming films like ‘War 2’ and ‘Housefull 5’.
Will the opening cross 40 crores?
Trade expert Joginder Tuteja and other analysts estimate that ‘Border 2’ could do business of more than 40 crore rupees on its first day. If this happens, it will leave the recently released ‘Dhruvandhar’ (28 crore opening) far behind.
Release Date: January 23, 2026 (Taking advantage of the Republic Day weekend), Will be released on 5000+ screens in India. It is rumored that the film has been made on a massive budget of ₹230 to ₹250 crore.
