State government is giving unemployment allowance of Rs 1500
Today we are talking about the government of Himachal Pradesh. This state government has launched a powerful scheme to help educated youth who are suffering from unemployment. Under the Unemployment Allowance Scheme, monthly financial assistance is provided to eligible unemployed persons. Under the Unemployment Allowance Scheme, educated unemployed youth get monthly financial assistance for a maximum of two years. Under this scheme, an allowance of Rs 24,000 to Rs 36,000 is given for two years. Persons with disabilities of at least 50% get 1,500 per month. Other categories get 1,000 taka monthly allowance. This amount will be directly deposited in their bank accounts.
10 conditions to get unemployment allowance
1) The applicant must be a resident of Himachal Pradesh, i.e. they must have original identity documents.
2) Not in government, public sector, private sector or any other job/self-employment.
3) Must have passed at least 10+2 from any recognized board/university.
4) Must be registered with any employment exchange in Himachal Pradesh at least 1 year before the date of application.
5) The total income of the family from all sources in the financial year immediately preceding the application should be less than Rs 2 lakh.
6) Must be more than 20 years of age and less than 35 years of age on the date of application.
7) Not if the applicant has been dismissed from his previous government job.
8) Cannot apply if he has committed any offence punishable with imprisonment for 48 hours or more.
9) No one who is currently pursuing any regular course or degree course can apply.
10) You should not be taking any other skill development allowance except this scheme.
How to apply?
Visit the Himachal Pradesh Labour and Employment Department website.
Click on ‘Check eligibility for unemployment allowance’ and enter the employment registration number.
If you are eligible, fill the form from ‘Apply online’ and also add bank details.
Print and sign the form, attach attested copies of documents (Aadhaar, birth certificate, income proof, registration proof) and submit it to the nearest employment office.
After verification, the payment will start.
