On the last day of 2025, the central government provided significant relief to those investing in small savings schemes. According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, there will be no change in the interest rates of Kisan Vikas Patra for the January-March 2026 quarter. Interest rate unchanged since April 1, 2023
The most notable feature of Kisan Vikas Patra is that its interest rate has remained stable for a long time. Since April 1, 2023, the government has not made any changes to it. KVP rates often prove to be more attractive than bank FDs, especially when investors want secure returns for the long term. This is why this scheme remains popular in both rural and urban areas today.
