Virat and Rohit will play the first match of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 on 24th December. Virat and Rohit will play their first match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 at different locations. Virat will play his match at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru, while Rohit Sharma will play his match in Jaipur. Kohli is part of the Delhi team, whose first match in the 2025-26 Vijay Hazare Trophy is against Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, Mumbai and Rohit Sharma will face Sikkim in Jaipur.
According to the report, Virat and Rohit’s matches cannot be telecast live. There will also be no live streaming. This is because all 38 teams will play their matches on the same day, and broadcasting facilities have been set up at only two locations: the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot.
