Rohit Sharma was practicing intensely ahead of the Australia tour. On a Friday morning, he practiced with Abhishek Nayar for about two hours at Shivaji Park. Rohit practiced everything from pull shots to cut shots. He also practiced against spin bowling, practicing sweep and slog sweep shots against spinners.

Video clips from this practice session were going viral on social media. It was being claimed that Rohit hit a shot that ended up hitting his Lamborghini.

It was claimed that Rohit might have damaged the car

In the video that surfaced, Rohit Sharma hit a big shot on the leg side. Fans cheered for this shot, and some even claimed that the ball landed on Rohit’s car. In the viral video, one person said, “He broke his own car.” Though it was not clear if he really damaged his car or not. It should be noted that the price of the Lamborghini Urus car starts from Rs 4.57 crore and goes up to Rs 5.40 crore.

Before the Australia tour, Rohit Sharma was last seen in action during the Champions Trophy 2025. Seven months later, he played in the ODI series against Australia, which was arranged from October 19th to 25th. In the series , Rohit Sharma was in good form, scored century as well.
