Trains Cancelled List: Most parts of the country are experiencing dense fog and biting cold. The thick fog is causing significant difficulties for people, including road accidents. According to weather experts, the fog will be densest between December and February, making safe train operations challenging. For approximately three months, from December 1st to February 28th, 28 express and 16 passenger trains will be cancelled entirely, while the frequency of 20 other trains has been reduced.

This decision will directly impact passengers. Passengers are advised to check their train status in advance to avoid any inconvenience.

Railway officials have stated that visibility becomes extremely low in dense fog, increasing the risk of accidents. Signalling and safe train operations become difficult. Therefore, several trains have been fully cancelled, and the schedules of others have been altered. Passengers are advised to check the status of their booked tickets before their journey.

Trains with Reduced Frequency:

Train Number 12207 Kathgodam–Jammu Tawi: Will be cancelled on December 9, 13, 20, 27; January 3, 10, 17, 24; February 7, 14, 21, 28. Train number 12208 Jammu Tawi–Kathgodam: Cancelled on December 7, 14, 21, 28; January 4, 11, 18, 25; and February 1, 8, 15, 22.

Train number 12209 Kanpur–Kathgodam: Cancelled on December 9, 16, 23, 30; January 6, 13, 20, 27; and February 3, 10, 17, 24.

Train number 12210 Kathgodam–Kanpur: Cancelled on December 15, 22, 29; January 5, 12, 19, 26; and February 2, 9, 16, 23.

Train number 14003 Malda Town–New Delhi: Will remain cancelled on several dates in December, January, and February due to fog.

The train cancellations will primarily affect passengers travelling through Uttar Pradesh and surrounding states, especially those who travel daily on passenger or MEMU trains. They may face significant inconvenience.
