Hyundai Bayon Crossover 2026
Hyundai Bayon is already available for sale in some international markets. This crossover is designed on the platform of the i20 hatchback, i.e. in terms of robustness and driving comfort, it will stand on a previously reliable base. Although the length of the global model is more than 4 meters, Hyundai will make the necessary changes to bring it into the Sub-4 Meter category, keeping in mind India’s tax structure.

Design
If we talk about design Hyundai Bayon will have a different look compared to the European model. The company will offer it according to the design language of Venue and upcoming new Hyundai SUVs in India. New grille design and sharp LED lighting setup can be seen at the front, which will give it a fresh and modern appeal.
Looking at the side profile, it may look like a muscular and elevated version of the i20. Much ground clearance, raised shoulder line and coupe-style roofline will give it a youth-friendly look. Overall, this car will also fit on the city streets and will also register its presence on the highway.
Features
Hyundai is known for its features and Bayon Crossover will not be different from it either. It is expected to get a new and larger touchscreen infotainment system, which may be inspired by Venue and Exter. It can also be provided with a digital driver display, which will make the cabin look completely futuristic.
In addition, features such as ADAS such as advanced safety features, 8-speaker Bose sound system, four-spoke multi-function steering wheel, automatic climate control and powered driver seat can also be included. It is clear that Hyundai does not want to keep this SUV less than anyone in terms of features.

Engine
Hyundai Bayon’s engine options are also quite interesting. It is expected to come with a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine. Both of these engines are already available in several Hyundai models and offer a good balance of performance and fuel efficiency.
In addition, Hyundai is also working on a new 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which will be hybrid-ready. It is expected that this engine could power the Bayon crossover in the future, making it a future-ready SUV.
