AFCAT 1 2026: Great news for students dreaming of joining the Indian Air Force! The deadline to submit the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) application form has been extended to December 19th. Candidates who haven’t yet completed the form can do so now by visiting the official website at afcat.cdac.in.

What are the eligibility criteria?
To apply for AFCAT 1 2026, candidates must have passed 10+2/Engineering Degree/Graduate Degree/NCC Certificate, etc., in the relevant subjects/fields, as specified for the post. Applicants must be at least 20 years old and no older than 24. The maximum age limit for candidates applying for Ground Duty/Technical posts is 26 years. NCC certificate holders will be given age relaxation.

AFCAT 1 2026: Application Steps
First, visit the official website afcat.cdac.in.
Go to the News section and click on the recruitment-related link (Click Here).
First, click on “Not Yet Registered? Register Here” and fill in the required details to register.
Fill in the remaining information using the sign-in option, then complete the form.
Finally, submit the form after paying the prescribed fee.
Take a printout for future reference.

Application Fee
Along with completing the online form, all categories of candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 550 to apply for AFCAT Entry posts. The cost can be paid online.
