Gold Rate Down: The trend of rising and falling in the gold rate continues. Changes in the prices of gold and silver are occurring daily. The prices of gold and silver are changing very rapidly. The cost of gold sometimes increases and sometimes decreases. Silver reached an all-time high today on 10th December. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of silver opened at Rs 1,86,350 per kilogram in the morning. However, since then, its price has declined slightly, and it has now closed at Rs 1,85,488, down by Rs 862. Earlier yesterday, it was at Rs 1,78,893. On the other hand, gold has fallen by Rs 186 to Rs 1,27,788 per 10 grams. Earlier, it was at Rs 1,27,974.

New Record for Silver on MCX
Silver prices have risen significantly compared to gold today. Silver has increased by ₹9,000 in a single day. Silver also set a new record today on the domestic market, MCX. The price of silver for March 2026 has reached above ₹1.90 lakh per kg. The cost of silver on MCX has increased by approximately 1.83 per cent to reach ₹1,91,500.
Silver is trading at its highest level in most cities across the country. In Chennai, the price of one kilogram of silver has crossed ₹2 lakh. The cost of silver in Delhi is ₹199,000. Internationally, silver also surpassed the $ 60-per-ounce mark, rising sharply to a new record high of $61.47 per ounce.
