PM Kisan 21st Installment: The long wait for millions of farmers has finally ended today. If you are involved in farming and are a beneficiary of the PM Kisan Yojana, check your bank account immediately. You may have already received the bank message you’ve been waiting for weeks. PM Modi released the much-awaited 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi from Andhra Pradesh to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This financial assistance from the government, after the festivals and during this crucial time of Rabi sowing, is no less than a big gift for the farmers.
9 crore farmers’ faces brightened
Earlier, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while sharing information on the social media platform ‘X’ (earlier Twitter), had said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer the amount of Samman Nidhi to the bank accounts of about 9 crore farmers of the country at around 1:30 pm today, although this amount has been released a little late than the scheduled time.
Farmers in these states have already received help
While the 21st installment was released today in most parts of the country, farmers in some states have already received this amount. The government has already transferred this money to the accounts of farmers in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir.
There was a very sensitive reason behind this. These states had been facing natural disasters for some time. Floods and landslides had caused significant damage to agriculture. To support farmers in this difficult time, the government made advance payments to these states without waiting for the 21st installment.
Money did not come into their account
Amidst such good news, there may be some farmers whose Rs 2,000 installment hasn’t reached their accounts today . If you’re one of them, instead of panicking, it’s important to understand the reasons. The biggest and primary reason for the lack of funds is the incomplete e-KYC.
The government has made e-KYC mandatory to maintain transparency and prevent fraud. If you haven’t completed this process yet, your installment may be delayed. Furthermore, this scheme is only for farmers who earn their livelihood by farming their registered land. Any discrepancies in the land documents or the name on the Aadhaar card and bank account may also result in the payment being withheld.
The good news is that this problem can be resolved. You can complete your e-KYC by visiting the official website of the PM Kisan Yojana or visiting your nearest Common Service Center (CSC). Once your documents are verified, the withheld funds will be released in the next process.
