First, visit the official website pmfby.gov.in.
After that, click on the Farmer’s Corner on the home page.
After that, select Guest Farmer in the pop-up.
Fill in the required information and bank account details in the registration form.
After this, enter the captcha code and click on create user. After registration begins, click on “Farmer Corner” followed by “Apply for Crop Insurance Yourself.”
Enter your mobile number, captcha code, etc., enter the OTP, and click “Submit.”
Your farmer application will open. Once the application is open, upload all the documents.
Following this, click on the preview and then click on the “Submit” button.
Now, obtain your payment receipt.
Eligibility for the PM Crop Insurance Scheme
All farmers growing crops in notified areas are eligible to avail the scheme. A valid land ownership certificate or lease agreement is required.

Learn when you won’t receive insurance benefits
The PM Crop Insurance Scheme applies only to notified areas. Farmers in areas not notified under the scheme will not receive compensation. Insurance coverage specifically excludes losses outside the crop cycle. If the loss is directly related to sowing or the crop period, compensation will not be available.
