Vande Bharat Express Train – Indian Railways operationalised four Vande Bharat Express trains today. PM Narendra Modi himself virtually flagged off the trains. On Saturday, the Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, connecting Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, hit the railway tracks. This Vande Bharat Express train, connecting three states of South India, is considered very special.

This is the first inter-state semi-high-speed premium train. Travellers travelling across three states will benefit from modern technological features. This Vande Bharat Express has been included in this Vande Bharat Express. The Vande Bharat Express train, which passes through three states, will take 8.40 hours to cover the distance, compared to the previous 11 hours.

Vande Bharat Express Train Timetable

The Vande Bharat Express train is equipped with modern technology. Regular service will begin on November 9th. It will depart from Bengaluru daily at 5.10 am and arrive in Ernakulam at 1.50 pm. On its return journey, it will depart from Ernakulam at 2:20 pm and arrive in Bengaluru at 11 pm.

According to Southern Railway, this train will facilitate trade, tourism, and healthcare between Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka. This train will also connect Palakkad, known as the gateway to Kerala. The Vande Bharat Express will provide passengers with a wide range of amenities for a comfortable and safe travel experience.

It will also be equipped with a GPS-based infotainment system, bio-vacuum toilets, and ergonomic seats. Automatic doors, reading lights, and Wi-Fi are also included.

How fast will the train run?

According to Indian Railways, more than 130 Vande Bharat Expresses are operating across the country, connecting various regions of India with speed. While the Vande Bharat Express has made travel comfortable, it has also significantly reduced travel time. According to Indian Railways, this new train will further bring the three states closer economically, socially, and culturally.
