Vande Bharat Train: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated four new Vande Bharat Express trains from Varanasi on Saturday, November 8th. The PM flagged off the trains, including the Varanasi-Khajuraho, Lucknow-Saharanpur, Firozpur-New Delhi, and Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Expresses. Demand for Vande Bharat trains is skyrocketing. The Vande Bharat trains have been equipped with various amenities for passenger convenience. PM Modi stated that infrastructure has been a major driver of economic growth worldwide. New Vande Bharat trains are being launched in multiple parts of the country. Vande Bharat trains have been launched in almost all states. Direct connectivity between Varanasi and Khajuraho is now available.

New Vande Bharat Express service was launched in UP

This semi-high-speed train to Khajuraho is the eighth Vande Bharat Express to operate from Varanasi. It will reach Khajuraho via Vindhyachal, Prayagraj Chheoki, and Chitrakootdham Karvi. On the inaugural day, this train will run as a special service. School children, media personnel, and other guests will be on board. Catering arrangements for the journey have been made by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today flagged off four new Vande Bharat Express trains from Varanasi. The new Vande Bharat trains will run between Banaras-Khajuraho, Lucknow-Saharanpur, Firozpur-Delhi, and Ernakulam-Bengaluru.

Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Station List

The Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat (26422) will establish direct connectivity on this route, covering the 443-kilometre distance in just 7 hours and 40 minutes. The Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will stop at Varanasi Cantt, Vindhyachal, Prayagraj Chheoki, Chitrakoot, Banda, Mahoba, and Khajuraho stations. Connectivity between Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh will be greatly facilitated. This train will run six days a week, except on Thursdays.

Vande Bharat Timings and Stoppages

The Banaras-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express, train number 26422, will depart from Varanasi Cantt station at 5:25 am and arrive at Vindhyachal railway station at 6:55 am. It will stop at Chheoki Prayagraj at 8 am and arrive at Chitrakoot Dham at 10:05 am. It will depart from there, arrive at Banda station at 11:08 am, depart for Mahoba station at 12:08 pm, and depart for Khajuraho railway station at 1:10 pm.
