Motorola has finally launched its new flagship smartphone Motorola Edge 70 Globally, the global version of the Moto X70 Air launched in China. The phone is already in much discussion due to its ultra-slim design, premium build quality and powerful camera system. Global variant
Motorola Edge 70 is designed for the global market. The phone is originally based on the Moto X70 Air, but some changes have been made keeping international users in mind. The phone has been launched in three Pantone color variants Gadget Gray, Lilly Pad, and Bronze Green. All three colors have a unique nylon-textured finish, which gives a premium feel when held in hand.
Design and build
Talking about design and build, the biggest attraction of Motorola Edge 70 is its design. This phone is only 6mm thin and weighs 159 grams. If compared, this Edge is 60 to 20 grams lighter.Despite achieving such a slim design, Motorola has given premium hardware to it. The phone has a height of 160mm and a width of 74mm, making it extremely comfortable to hold in hand.
Processor and Performance
Now let’s talk about the processor and performance, the Motorola Edge 70 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which comes with LPDDR5X 12GB RAM. This combination makes it extremely smooth in terms of performance. The phone runs on Android 16, with Motorola’s own OS skin, which makes the user experience even cleaner and fluid. Motorola claims that the phone provides up to 29 hours of video playback, up to 66 hours of music playback, 8 hours of 4K video recording, and backup of social media users for up to 10 hours. In addition, the phone has 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging support, allowing it to be charged extremely quickly.
Camera Setup
The Motorola Edge 70 features a dual rear camera system, consisting of a 50MP wide-angle (f/1.8) and a 50MP ultra-wide (f/2.0) lens. Both lenses support PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus). There’s also a 50MP front-facing camera, providing an excellent experience for selfies and video calls. This camera also supports 4K video recording.
