The Border Roads Organisation has extended an invitation to qualified candidates to apply for the BRO Recruitment 2025 process. The process invites applicants to work in crucial technical positions that maintain national infrastructure. The organisation has released offline applications for 542 vacancies, including Vehicle Mechanic and Multi Skilled Worker (MSW) positions. Individuals who are willing to apply are requested to go through the official notification first.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants shall satisfy the statutory requirements for each job. For Vehicle Mechanic posts, candidates should be holding Matriculation and a Mechanic certificate in Motor Vehicle, Diesel, or Heat Engine. For MSW (Painter) posts, candidates shall hold a Matriculation certificate and a recognized trade certificate in Painting. Likewise, MSW (DES) applicants should have a Mechanic Motor or Vehicle certificate from a recognized institution.

Application Process
Eligible aspirants may submit the form offline by downloading it from the official website bro.gov.in. Enter all information correctly in English or Hindi. Paste recent photos and required documents before submission. Every aspirant is required to submit only one form per post. The application deadline is 24 November 2025, and candidates belonging to remote areas may apply till 9 December 2025.
Selection Process
The BRO Recruitment 2025 shall comprise more than one evaluation phase. The candidate needs to clear a written exam first and then a physical efficiency test. Technical skills shall be ascertained through practical or trade tests. Medical standards and experience shall be the final selection criteria. Weightage to the candidate scoring higher marks in mandatory qualifications shall also be given.
Application Fee and Benefits
The candidates who belong to the General, OBC, or EWS categories need to pay ₹50, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates are exempted. The pay matrix of these posts is between ₹18,000 to ₹63,200, providing a steady and fulfilling government job with growth prospects.
