Price and variant
Only one variant of the Triumph Speed 400 is available Speed 400 Standard, which has an X-showroom price of around ₹2,33,920. This price is quite reasonable compared to the second bikes in its segment, especially when looking at its design and performance.
Engine and performance
The bike features a 398.15cc BS6 engine that generates power of 39.5 bhp and torque of 37.5 Nm. Such a power output is very great for this class bike. The single-cylinder engine is connected to a 6-speed gearbox, which also features a torque-assist clutch, making gear shifting extremely smooth.
Design and Styling
The design of the Triumph Speed 400 is based entirely on the modern retro roadster look. It has a round headlamp, teardrop shaped fuel tank and slim tail section. All these elements make the bike a perfect blend of classic and modern.
color option
The company has launched this bike in four new colors – Racing Yellow, Pearl Metallic White, Phantom Black, and Racing Red. The specialty of these colors is that they make a great contrast with the bike's blacked-out engine and exhaust pipe.
Suspension and wheel
The bike has a USD (Upside Down) fork in the front and monoshock suspension in the rear, providing great road stability and control. The bike runs on 17-inch wheels, with Vredestein high-profile tires that provide better grip.
Braking and Safety
The Triumph Speed 400 features disc brakes on both the front and back. It also includes an anti-lock braking system (ABS), which increases safety during riding and prevents the bike from slipping when applying a sudden brake.
driving feel
You have a very smooth and controlled riding feel while running the Speed 400. Whether walking the city streets or at high speeds on the highway, both its engine and suspension perform reliably.
