Recently, the Uttar Pradesh government launched a special scheme to encourage farmers towards modern farming. Under this scheme of the Uttar Pradesh government, farmers will get a variety of modern tools at very low prices. Tools like tractors, rotavators, harrows, sprayers, and threshers are a great help in farming. What used to take hours can now be accomplished in minutes. The government is providing farmers with a subsidy of up to 50%, so they can easily purchase these tools.
According to Agriculture Officer Bhagwati Prasad, the scheme aims to connect farmers with technology and make farming profitable. Farmers can purchase any implement from an authorized dealer and receive the subsidy by submitting the bill to the Agriculture Department.
How to apply and how much discount will you get?
The online application process for receiving subsidies under this scheme began on October 15th and will continue until 12 midnight on October 29th. All farmers can apply by visiting the department’s website, agridarshan.up.gov.in , or by visiting their nearest CSC center to complete the process.
There will be no token fee for small implements. However, a token fee of Rs 2,500 will be charged for implements costing between Rs 10,000 and Rs 50,000, and up to Rs 5,000 for implements costing lakhs of rupees. After availing the scheme, farmers can purchase their implements from the store of their choice. They can then submit the invoice and receive the subsidy.
