PM Kisan Yojana : Good news is coming for millions of farmers across the country. The 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan Yojana) may be released soon. Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 to farmers each year, which is given in three installments of Rs 2,000 each.
This money is deposited directly into the farmers’ bank accounts. It was previously anticipated that the government might give this gift to farmers on Diwali, but now it is reported that this installment may be transferred in the first week of November. However, the government has not yet announced an official date.
Farmers who have completed their Aadhaar e-KYC and whose bank accounts are linked to Aadhaar are likely to receive the next ₹2,000 in their accounts. However, those who have not yet completed their e-KYC may face a temporary suspension of their installments.
How to update e-KYC from mobile?
Open the pmkisan.gov.in website on your mobile.
Click on e-KYC option on the homepage.
Now enter your Aadhaar number and required details.
Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
Your e-KYC process will be completed once the OTP is verified.
Why e-KYC is important?
The government’s goal is to ensure that only eligible farmers receive the benefits of the PM Kisan Yojana, preventing fraud or fraud. This is why the government has made Aadhaar e-KYC mandatory.
If your e-KYC hasn’t been completed yet, your name could be removed from the beneficiary list and your next installment of ₹2,000 could be delayed.
