Engine
Now let’s talk about the engine, both bikes have an air-cooled, single-cylinder engine of 97.2cc, which generates power of 8.02bhp and torque of 8.05Nm. It gets a 4-speed gearbox that gives a smooth and comfortable riding experience.
As far as performance is concerned, the two are almost the same. However, the Splendor Xtec 2.0 gives the i3S (Idle Stop-Start System) standard, which works to save fuel in traffic.
Mileage
According to ARAI, Splendor Plus offers mileage of up to 70km/l, while Xtec 2.0 claims to deliver up to about 73km/l. In real-life, Splendor Plus gives around 60-65km/l and Xtec 2.0 can easily extract up to 65-70km/l.
