The basic salary of Level-1 central employees is up to ₹18,000. With a 2.86 fitment factor, the salary can be up to ₹51,000. This will translate into a salary increase of up to ₹34,000. When will the new Pay Commission be implemented?
The question of when the 8th Pay Commission will be implemented has become a major one. The 8th Pay Commission was approved in January 2025, but the government has yet to form it.
