Permanent Account Number (PAN) is a 10-digit alphanumeric ID issued by the Income Tax Department for any businessman or employee. It is very important for financial transactions. These include filing Income Tax Returns (ITR), opening bank accounts, and investing in the stock market, which are not possible without a PAN card.
