The base variant of the first Xpulse 210 was found in ₹1.76 lakhs and the top variant ₹1.86 lakhs (ex showroom). Now the price has come down to ₹1.62 lakh (Base) and ₹1.71 lakh (Top) — ie savings of close ₹14,516.

The bike features a 210cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that generates power of 24.6hp @ 9,250rpm and torque of 20.7Nm @ 7,250rpm. Power delivery is smooth and its performance on the highway is a great compliment.

However, among the top variants, the company has features such as TFT displays, dual-channel ABS, copy guards, and windscreens that make it more adventure-ready. Single-channel ABS is given in the base variant.

Kawasaki KLX230

Also tell you Kawasaki’s KLX230 is made for riders who want a real off-road experience. The initial price of this bike was ₹3.30 lakh, but after localization its price had fallen to ₹1.99 lakh. Now after GST 2.0 its price has dropped further to ₹1.84 lakhs (ex-showroom), ie an additional deduction of around ₹15,000.

It features a 233cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that generates power of 19hp @ 7,800rpm and torque of 19Nm @ 6,200rpm. The accompanying 6-speed gearbox, 37mm telescopic front fork, and monoshock rear suspension.

Now let’s talk compared the two bikes. The base variant of the Xpulse 210 comes in ₹1.62 lakhs, which is ₹22,000 cheaper than the KLX230. At the same time the top variant is ₹1.71 lakh, which is close to ₹13,000 less than KLX230.

Talking about features, the Hero Xpulse 210 comes with more advanced technology and better highway and touring ability. On the other hand, the Kawasaki KLX230 is a dedicated dual-sport machine with lighter, more ground clearance and specifically designed for off-roading.

If your focus is on both adventure riding and off-roading, the Xpulse 210 Top Variant will prove to be a more balanced choice. But if you are just fond of jungle trails or off-road rides, then the KLX230 will like you more.
