Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara

Maruti’s electric game has now begun. The company is going to launch its first Electric SUV called e-Vitara, which may arrive in late 2025 or early 2026. Interestingly, this SUV is already selling in Europe, and more than 6,000 units have been exported so far. In India it will be sold through Nexa show-rooms.

This SUV will be given a structure based exclusively on the EV platform, which will be not only strong but also safe. It will get two battery options — The larger battery variant will give a range of more than 500 kilometers.

If it comes to the interior, it will get high-tech features like big touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, digital dashboard and Level 2 ADAS. Also, ventilated seats will make this SUV a luxury electric experience.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara 7-Seater

Maruti is also going to bring a 7-Seater version of its popular SUV Grand Vitara. It can be launched between 2026–2027. This model will directly compete with SUVs such as the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, and Hyundai Alcazar.

This SUV will feature both 1.5-liter petrol engine and 1.5-liter hybrid engine (with Toyota partnership) options. Also, the company is also considering delivering a 2.0-liter hybrid powertrain with Innova Hycross.

Maruti’s fourth incoming SUV is a Micro SUV, which will be smaller but equally strong than Brezza. It can be launched in late 2026 or early 2027. This SUV will directly compete with Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter.

In this, the company will use its new Strong Hybrid Powertrain Technology, which will increase the mileage of the car and also keep the price pocket-friendly.
