New Variant Launched
Kia has introduced a new variant of the Carens Clavis to address customer needs in the Indian market. This move comes in response to growing demand and its popularity. This new variant will provide customers with more options, which is expected to boost sales.
The new HTX(O) variant has been launched with several premium features. Its ex-showroom price is ₹19.26 lakh. The Kia Carens Clavis will now be available in a total of eight trims: HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+(O), HTX, HTX+, and HTX(O). Sales of the new lineup will begin across all Kia showrooms from October 13, 2025.
Special Features
The HTX(O) variant of the Kia Carens Clavis includes several premium features that set it apart from other variants. It features a BOSE premium sound system, drive mode select (Eco, Normal, Sport), smart key remote engine start, and an electric parking brake with auto hold.
It is offered with the Smartstream G1.5 Turbo-GDi petrol engine, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT). This setup not only delivers a smooth driving experience but also strikes an excellent balance between power and efficiency.
Safety Features
Kia has always prioritized safety, and this is also evident in the Carens Clavis. This SUV features Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) along with over 20 autonomous features, making driving even safer. It also includes features like six airbags, Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), and Electronic Stability Control (ESC). Together, these safety features elevate passenger safety to a new level.
