So let’s know the full details, features and prices of these two bikes.

New color options

The 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 250 has been launched in two new color variants. The first is the gray color with yellow accents, which gives it a sweet but stylish look. At the same time, the second variant comes in red stripes with a white base, which seems more sporty and vibrant to watch.

On the other hand, the Kawasaki Z250 is offered in black and gray sheds, giving it a premium and muscular feel. There is no change in both bikes in terms of design. Their look and bodywork is the same as before, which is still reminiscent of the Ninja 400 and Z650.

Engine

If you talk about the engine, let me tell you that both bikes have the same engine as in earlier models. They receive a liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine of 248cc, generating power of 34.5bhp and peak torque of 22Nm. A six-speed gearbox is provided with the engine, which gives a smooth shifting and improved control experience.

Talking about suspension setup, both bikes have telescopic forks on the front and monoshock suspension in the rear, which makes the ride stable and comfortable. The 17-inch alloy wheels and 310mm front and 220mm rear disc brakes make them even more balanced.

Features and design

The Kawasaki Ninja 250 still features a semi-digital console, which gives an old-fashioned glimpse, while the Z250 now gets a modern LCD display, giving it a slightly advanced look.

Both bikes have a 14-liter fuel tank, which ensures good mileage for long rides. However, its ground clearance is just 145mm, which is fine for city paths, but bumpy places will require little attention.

Price

Talking about the price, the 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 250 in Japan is priced at 7,26,000 yen (about ₹4.37 lakhs), while the Z250 is priced at 7,04,000 yen (about ₹4.24 lakhs). Both bikes will be available in the Japanese market from November 2025.

India Launch

However, it is a bit disappointing for Indian bike lovers that there are no official plans to launch the Kawasaki Ninja 250 and Z250 in India. But the company is already selling Kawasaki Ninja 300 in India, which costs ₹3.17 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is currently the most economical twin-cylinder bike in India and is also great in terms of performance.
