Technology
When it comes to the Nissan Tekton’s interiors, the company has focused on making it completely modern and comfortable. According to reports, its cabin design will be similar to the Next-Gen Renault Duster, but with some distinctive Nissan touches.
The SUV will feature a large 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. A digital instrument cluster, premium soft-touch materials, and a multi-layer dashboard design will give the cabin a luxurious feel.

Nissan will also leave no stone unturned when it comes to safety. It will include features like six airbags, a 360-degree camera, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Hill Start Assist.
Engine
Now, in terms of performance, the Nissan Tekton will be powered by a 1.3-liter turbo-petrol engine, which generates excellent power and torque. This engine has already proven its performance in several Renault-Nissan models.
It will be paired with a Dual-Clutch Automatic Transmission (DCT), which is known for smooth and fast gear shifting. This combination will provide a great driving experience not only for city driving but also on the highway.
Design
The new Nissan Tekton is built on the Next-Gen Renault Duster Platform, known for its modern and robust architecture. Its design is inspired by the company’s larger SUV, the Nissan Patrol, giving it a bold and premium look.

The C-Shaped LED Headlamps, stylish Chrome Accents, and muscular grille at the front give it a powerful SUV look. Furthermore, the prominent wheel arches and sporty roofline give it a powerful street presence. Overall, the Tekton’s design appeals to both young and family enthusiasts.
Launch and Price
Nissan has officially confirmed that the Tekton SUV will be launched in India by mid-2026. While prices haven’t been announced yet, it’s expected to be priced between ₹12 lakh and ₹18 lakh (ex-showroom).
