Mohammed Siraj bowled the eighth over in the second innings. Tegnarayan Chanderpaul tried to hit the ball but missed. The ball went to Nitish Reddy at square leg. Reddy jumped and caught the ball. It looked like he was flying.

Reddy, who scored his first Test century for India last year at Melbourne against Australia, did not get a chance to bat in the first innings. He was supposed to bat at No. 8 for the Shubman Gill-led team, but India declared their innings before he could come to bat.

West Indies scored 162 runs in the first innings. KL Rahul, Dhruv Jurel, and Ravindra Jadeja scored centuries. India scored 448 runs for 5 wickets and stopped their innings. India led by 286 runs.
