Indian Army Chief: Since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, tensions between India and Pakistan have been at loggerheads. India has been continuously fighting against Pakistan. In response to the Pahalgam incident, the Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor, which wreaked havoc in Pakistan, killing over 100 terrorists.
Meanwhile, India has warned Pakistan that it will be wiped off the map. Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi visited the border area in the 22 MD village of Ghadsana in Sri Ganganagar. Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi issued a stern warning to Pakistan on Friday. He said that if Pakistan does not stop supporting terrorism, it could be wiped off the map. This time, the Indian Army will not show the same restraint as before. He warned that if Pakistan does not stop spreading terrorism, ‘Operation Sindoor 2.0’ could be launched.
Upendra Dwivedi stated that during Operation Sindoor 1.0, the Indian Army destroyed nine terrorist hideouts in Pakistan. Over 100 Pakistani soldiers and numerous terrorists were killed. Evidence of this operation has been shown to the entire world. He stated that the success of Operation Sindoor is attributed to the Army personnel and the local people.
Should Pakistan remain in history or not? – Army Chief
The Army Chief stated that Pakistan will have to reconsider whether it wants to remain in history. If Pakistan wants to make a place in history, it must eliminate terrorism. During the event, three service officers who performed exceptionally well in Operation Sindoor were also honoured.
Further, the Defence Minister attributed the success of Operation Sindoor to the Indian Army as well as the general public. He said that whenever any woman in this country applies vermillion in her parting, she remembers the soldiers of the Indian Army.
