Design and Display: A Familiar yet Improved Look

In contrast to last year, when Vivo provided four variants such as the Pro Mini and Ultra, the X300 line this time will feature only the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro. The regular model functions as the compact flagship, while the Pro provides a larger form factor. The design change is minimal, with the massive round camera module still present, but the series now features a flat back panel and flat edges for a cleaner look.

The color palette is more colorful this year. The vanilla X300 will be available in Lucky Color, Cozy Purple, Free Blue, and Pure Black, while the Pro version will have Wilderness Brown, Simple White, Free Blue, and Pure Black. Both of these devices have IP68 and IP69 certifications, and thus, both are extremely dust and water-resistant. The X300 will boast a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh, while the Pro upgrades to a 6.78-inch screen. Both employ BOE’s newest Q10 Plus OLED tech with brightness support as low as 1 nit.

Performance: Dimensity 9500 powers up

The Vivo X300 series is powered by the just-announced MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which delivers console-grade graphics with ray tracing technology. The NPU and ISP performance is also improved. There are benchmark leaks that support at least one of the models having 16GB RAM, making it ready for heavy workloads in the future.

Both handsets will use Android 16-based OriginOS 6, which also brings extended ecosystem support, even for a few Apple handsets. Battery life also receives a boost: the standard X300 is likely to feature a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired charging and wireless charging capabilities. The Pro edition goes one step further with a 6,500mAh battery, 90W wired, and 50W wireless rapid charging, which is one of the most endurance-centric flagships of 2025.

Camera: A Giant Leap in Photography

Vivo has established its flagship brand on photography perfection, and the X300 series isn’t different. The two phones will launch with the 4th Gen Zeiss camera system and sophisticated Zeiss T coating* to improve lens clarity. The vanilla X300 will feature a 200MP HPB primary camera (1/1.4-inch sensor), accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP Sony LYT602 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

The Pro, on the other hand, steps up with a new 50MP 1/1.28-inch CMOS sensor, an 85mm 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The two phones will feature 50MP front cameras, 4K 60fps portrait video recording, and enhanced stabilization up to CIPA 4.5 and 5.5 levels due to Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip.

Launch Timeline: Mark Your Calendars

Vivo has formally confirmed that the X300 series will be launched on October 13, 2025, at 7 PM (China time). The company will also launch a special camera kit for long-distance telephoto functions. With all these advancements in design, performance, and photography, the Vivo X300 series appears to battle it out head-on with the best flagships of 2025.
