Bihar STET 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board has opened the application window for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test 2025. Candidates can apply online from home through the official portal bsebstet.org or secondary.biharboardonline.com and biharboardonline.com. It’s worth noting that the last date for applications is September 27, 2025. STET 2025 will consist of two papers: Paper I for the secondary level and Paper II for the higher secondary level.
Applications will be accepted from September 19 to 27th, and the exam will be held between October 12th and 31st. Results will be announced on November 16. The BPSC TRE-4 will fill over 26,000 positions, for which vacancies will be submitted to the BPSC soon.
Bihar STET 2025: Eligibility
For Bihar STET 2025, candidates interested in secondary-level teaching positions must possess a graduation or post-graduation degree in a relevant subject, as well as a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree. A degree with at least 50 per cent marks. Individuals with integrated degrees such as a BA-B.Ed. or B.Sc.-B.Ed. are also eligible.
The upper age limit for applying is 37 years, with relaxations of three years for women, Backward Classes (BCs), and Most Backward Classes (MBCs).
Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) are five years old.
Ten years old for candidates with disabilities (Divyang).
Application Fees
General, Economically Weaker Sections, and Backward Classes candidates must pay ₹960 for Paper I or Paper II, and ₹1,440 for both papers.
Candidates from the Scheduled Caste and the Scheduled Tribe categories will have to pay ₹760 for one paper. Additionally, ₹1,140 will be required for both papers.
The fee can be paid via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
Education Minister Sunil Kumar has also issued a major statement regarding the BPSC TRE-4. He stated that vacancies will be announced for over 26,000 posts in the TRE-4 exam. The vacancies will be submitted to the BPSC within the next four to five days.
