EPFO Update- Good news for EPFO members. If you work in the private sector and are registered under the EPF, a new feature has been launched. The EPFO has introduced the Passbook Lite feature. Now, members can view their entire PF account details in just one click, without logging in. You can view your PF account details directly from the portal.

Until now, you had to log in to the Passbook portal separately to check your PF balance or transactions, but the new Passbook Lite feature has eliminated this problem. Even if you don’t receive a message on your phone, you can now check the amount deposited into your PF account through Facebook Lite.

What is the Passbook Lite feature?

Now, employees will be able to view complete information about their contributions, withdrawals, and total balance directly on the member portal. Labor and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya announced this service during an event. He stated that this improvement will not only enhance the convenience of PF members but also reduce the load on the existing Passbook portal.

What are the benefits of Passbook Lite?

The biggest advantage is that you no longer need to go to multiple locations for different information. You’ll have complete information in one place. You can keep all your PF information by taking a screenshot. Furthermore, you can quickly search for details, saving time. Furthermore, you’ll also eliminate the hassle of remembering passwords.

Transfers will be faster. The PF transfer process using PF Form 13 is going to be faster. To transfer old PF, the old office prepares an Annexure K certificate and this document is sent to the new PF office to ensure proper transfer of funds from the old account to the new account. This process has now become easier. Employees can download the Annexure K in PDF format directly from the member portal. This not only speeds up the transfer process but also gives employees better control over information related to their PF transfer.

Employees can now track the status of their PF

transfer online to ensure their funds have been transferred correctly from their old account to their new account. They can also check if the balance and service hours in their new PF account are updated correctly.
